Located at the authentic site of the World Trade Center towers and the attack itself, the Museum will allow visitors to bear witness to the victims of these attacks, all those who risked their lives to save others, and everyone around the world who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath. In telling the stories of that day, and by examining the ongoing meanings of the event, the Museum will open visitors to their own experience, and to the world that has evolved out of September 11, 2001.
